Creamy Chicken

Ingredients

Makes 6 servings

2 cups sour cream

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 10 3/4 oz can of cream of mushroom soup

Combine soup mix, sour cream and cream of mushroom soup into the slow cooker. Add chicken, pushing it down so it’s submerged below the sauce.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Serve over noodles or brown rice.

Creamy Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients

Makes 5 servings

3 lbs skinless chicken parts

4 oz can mushrooms

2 10 3/4 cans of cream of chicken soup

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

1 cup chicken broth

Place chicken in slow cooker.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

Cover. Cook on low 6 hours.

Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

Makes 7-8 servings

2 10 3/4 cans cream of mushroom soup

2 10 3/4 cans chicken gumbo soup

3 cups of cut up chicken

1 cup milk

6 oz can chow mein noodles

1 pint frozen green beans or corn, cooked

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

Easy Chicken

Ingredients

Makes 8 servings

3 large onions, sliced

1/2 cup water

4 lb chicken legs and thighs

14 oz bottle barbecue sauce

Place water in bottom of slow cooker. Add chicken. Pour barbecue sauce over top.

Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

Simple Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

Makes 5-6 servings

3 lbs skinless chicken pieces

20 oz can pineapple chunks (in water, not syrup)

1 cup teriyaki sauce

Place chicken in slow cooker. Pour remaining ingredients over chicken.

Cover and cook on low 7 hours, or on high 4 hours.

Easy Pot Roast

Ingredients

Makes 6 servings

6 potatoes, quartered

6 sliced carrots

4 lb chuck roast

1 envelope dry onion soup mix

10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup

2 tbsp flour

1/2 cup water

Place meat, carrots and potatoes in slow cooker. Top with soups.

Cover and cook on low 8 hours.

Beef Stew

Ingredients

Makes 6 servings

3 lbs boneless beef

1 envelope dry onion soup

28 oz diced canned tomatoes, undrained

5 potatoes, cubed

1 onion, chopped

6 carrots, sliced

1 tsp sugar (or dash of stevia sugar substitute)

1 tbsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

Cover and bake on high 5 hours.

Steak Casserole

Ingredients

Makes 6 servings

2 lbs round steak cut 1/2 inch thick

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 sliced onion

4 potatoes, quartered

16 oz can corn or green beans, drained

1 clove garlic, minced

10 3/4 oz can tomato soup

14 1/2 oz can tomatoes

Season steak with salt and pepper. Cut into serving pieces and place in slow cooker.

Add onion, potatoes, green beans/corn, and garlic. Top with soup and tomatoes.

Cover and cook 8-9 hours or high 4-5 hours. Remove cover last 1/2 hour if too much liquid has accumulated.

Barbecue Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

Makes 12 servings

3 lb boneless chuck roast

1 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 cup apricot preserves

1/3 cup chopped green peppers

1 small onion, chopped

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 tsp brown sugar or 1 tsp stevia sugar substitute

12 sandwich rolls

Cut roast into quarters and place in greased slow cooker.

Combine barbecue sauce, preserves, green peppers, onions, mustard and brown sugar (or stevia). Pour over roast.

Cover, cook on low 6-7 hours.

Serve beef on rolls.

Beef Chili

Ingredients

1 large chopped onion

3 tbsp olive oil

1 lb. ground beef

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp chili powder

3 lb cans of red, pinto or black beans

Chop and saute the onion in oil in skillet until transparent. Add salt and turkey or beef and brown lightly in skillet.

Combine all ingredients into the crockpot and mix well. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Crockpot Tacos

Ingredients

Makes 6-8 servings

3 lb. round roast, cut into chunks (or substitute chuck hamburger)

1 large onion, chopped

3 tbsp olive oil

3 garlic cloves

1 tsp salt

1 cup water

Brown meat and onion in oil. Transfer to slow cooker.

Add garlic, salt and water.

Cover and cook on high 6-7 hours

If used round roast, pull meat apart with two forks until shredded.

Serve with tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and guacamole.
