Cheap Halloween Decor
Cheap Halloween Decorations
This is such a fun time of year; and spooky decor, whether it's cheap Halloween props or other scary stuff is a terrific way to spice this holiday up.I know you'll really enjoy many of these decorative ideas as we have: Homemade DecorationsIf you like to make things on your own or get your children involved; not only is this is a huge money saver, but you can let your creativity run wild and really have a good time in the process. - Cobwebs
You'll find these to be really fun to put together. You cut thin string into 4 to 5 ft lengths and hang them from the ceiling. The trick is to keep the strings wet for a better effect. We use a squirt gun for the outside porch and a container of water for the indoor webs. You can also spray paint the string black against cardboard, wait to dry and then hang! - Hanging Ghosts
Talk about cheap decor and a wonderful effect, you can't go wrong with the tissue ghosts. Squish three tissues together into a ball (you can also use toilet paper). For Now, drape a tissue over the ball; then tie the draped tissue to the ball using string or yarn. On the ball you can use your imagination when making the ghosts face. I like to use clear fishing line for hanging the ghosts to provide a better floating effect. We also have a little fan oscillating back and forth on the ghosts to keep them flying! Kids, especially the little ones, really get a kick out these little props. - Cutouts
Talk about cheap props, if you have a computer, printer and some markers, you're good to go. You have a huge variety of free cutouts that you can print off the internet at sites such as this. The kids really enjoy cutting, coloring and taping the cutouts to the walls, windows, doors, you name it. - Gravestones
It just wouldn't be right not to include these props. Yes, you can make these and they're easy! What you do is cut cardboard boxes into the shapes of gravestones and glue or duct tape them onto small wooden stakes to hold the stones up. You can spray paint the cardboard grey; then use dark markers to write "RIP" or what have you.
