Filing Federal Taxes

Understanding the key federal tax deductions that we're going to share with you will put the laws in your favor. You'll be armed with the knowledge of what deductions you're entitled to and how to take full advantage of these write-offs.

Bottom line, when filing federal returns, you'll be freeing up a massive amount of cash to put in your pocket instead of the IRS's.

Income Tax Expenses - Ouch!

Believe it or not, your home is not the biggest expense you'll come across during your lifetime; income taxes are! If left unchecked by not taking advantage of key write-offs, a great deal of your wealth will go into the government's hands.

If you want to protect yourself from overpaying, you’ll need to maximize your disposable income by minimizing your taxes using legitimate deductions.

I emphasize legitimate because my guidelines are not ways to cheat the IRS and they are not loopholes (untested areas of the tax code). They are proven, legal tax strategies to reduce your income taxes.

The Basics Of Tax Deductions

Federal Tax Deductions (or write-offs) is the money you can subtract (deduct) from all the money you make to reduce your taxable income. The more money you can deduct from your total earnings, the more cash you get to keep in your pocket.

There are basically three types of federal income tax write-offs: personal, investment and business deductions.

Investment write-offs offset expenses and fees you incurred for various investments; including the stock market and real estate.

Your personal deductions would include the mortgage interest and property taxes on your home as well as write-offs for dependents; just to name a few.

Business deductions would focus on "several" write-offs you're entitled to if you own a small business; home-based or otherwise.

There are two tax systems in the US; one for employees and one for small/home based business owners. In addition to the tax deductions employees get, business owners also are entitled to "many" other write-offs which you can also take advantage of as you'll see below!
