Oh yes, fun, healthy and great ways to alleviate stress. These activities are also free and can be played at home or your local school or park. This includes basketball, baseball, rollerblading, soccer and tennis. - The Library
We love the library. The admission is free and you can spend hours getting lost in great books and magazines. You can also bring these materials home for free. Don't forget about DVD's and CD's which are very inexpensive. Another benefit is you can jump on the internet for free. Your library probably also offers free reading times for the kids. Kid's simply love sitting with other children listening to someone read a good book. If you need to do any research on something you're passionate about; you have everything you need at the library; including a reference desk where a professional is paid to assist you. - Creative Fun
We love this frugal fun tip. Children have wonderful imaginations. Our kids enjoy playing the restaurant game where they get to take your order, deliver the food (invisible of course) and cash you out. Another fun one is singing. Our older daughter is the announcer who introduces our other daughter who sings songs to us. It's really neat; she sings out of a camera tripod for her microphone. You can also play "camping fun day." Here we'll spend time camped in a tent in our backyard playing board games, charades, eating and telling stories. Not only is this fun, but it's a wonderful way for the family to spend some true quality time together!
