If you know knitting, you can try making sweaters and mufflers using wool and add a personal touch to it by writing the initials of the person to whom it is to be gifted.

You can also make pen stands using tins and decorating it nicely.

Wall hangings, handprint canvas bags, and shoulder bags can also be made and gifted on birthdays.

The best thing about giving a homemade gift is that it stands out because you took the time to put it together; not to mention it's frugal (a huge money saver)!
