Our Thrift Store Shopping Story

by Nancy Lee
(AR)

Hi,

I wanted to share my thrift store shopping experiences.

As a frugal shopper, I'm always looking for ways to save money; especially on necessities of food and clothing.

Over the years, I know I've saved several thousands of dollars by shopping at thrift stores. I primarily use the thrifts to buy pants and shirts; and you know what, these are nice clothes.

You get good clothing at a "fraction" of what you would pay at other stores. And, if you take the time to look, you'll find high quality clothing.

In fact, the clothing I buy is practically new because it was hardly worn at all. People love to shop and usually overspend or outgrow the clothes and then donate them to the thrift.

One more tip; not all thrift store shopping is created the same. Some thrifts may only have a good jean selection; while others may have a good stock of shirts for example.

So, shop around. Personally, I use 2 thrift stores.

I hope this helps!

P.S. this is a great website, thank you for all the free information..
